MATH Followup

What happened

Dealt K9d in the BB. UTG (big stack) made a small raise. There were a few callers and I called with about my starting stack.

Flop was 8d 6d 7s. I bet pot, UTG doubles, everyone folds and I push thinking I am ahead here with my straight and flush draw and hopefully at least one over.

Turn was a 7d completing my flush.

River was 7, making boat for winner.

I shrug, a defeated man and concentrate on other MTT, coming in third for a nice chunk but none of the glory that a MATH cash entails.

Who am I kidding. I would have just blown the money on collectible spoons. Now that's a habit I've got to get under control.

I like your artwork. I have looked exactly like that many a time.

It's one thing when you lose a big pot, but quite another when you have already visioned the huge stack of chips you will not see ...
